Pioneering victorian photographer, Julia Margaret Cameron ( 1815-1879 ).  Indeed, this lady made a significant contribution towards the development of portraiture, fashion and art photography as it is today.

Her home, Dimbola Lodge, was saved a from a pack of grimy bulldozers at the last minute in the early 90′s and is now run by the trust set up in her name.  You can find out more here.
